The Winery Tour is a guided experience of approximately 1.5 hours exploring the history of Cantine Olivella, with a tasting of 3 signature Vesuvius wines.
The winery tour will introduce you to the history of Cantine Olivella, explain how a wine is made, and showcase our innovative cellar. The experience concludes in the large central hall with a tasting of 4 wines that represent our territory:
Hèbon “Spumante Metodo Classico”, Katà “Catalanesca del Monte Somma IGP, Emblema “Vesuvio Caprettone DOP”, Vipt “Vesuvio Piedirosso DOP”.
The visit lasts approximately two hours and takes place in a group with other visitors. Tours are offered in Italian and English (guided tours with a translator available only by prior arrangement) at various times throughout the day.
The wine tasting will be accompanied by a pairing experience.
Tasting Menu:
– Extra virgin olive oil EVO from our own production
– Appetizer served on our homemade focaccia (varies seasonally)
– Broken pasta “candele spezzate” with Pomodorino del Piennolo del Vesuvio DOP
– Dessert with Vesuvio apricot jam from our own production

Children up to 6 years old: free;
Youth from 7 to 18 years old: 10 euros for the menu without wine;

Cantine Olivella is located in Sant’Anastasia, in the heart of the Vesuvius National Park, 15 km from the center of Naples. 25 km from the archaeological excavations of Pompeii, 10 km from those of Herculaneum.
Cantine Olivella is a winery established in 2005 rooted in the Vesuvian territory of Sant’Anastasia, in the heart of the Vesuvius National Park, 15 km from the center of Naples, 25 km from the archaeological excavations of Pompeii, 10 km from those of Herculaneum.
Visiting our company will give you the opportunity to admire first and foremost the beauty of our vineyards, which extend at the foot of Mount Somma and will continue in the cellar where you can taste the wine that our grapes offer us, accompanied by excellent local products made following ancient local traditions. The grapes produced are Catalanesca, Caprettone, and Piedirosso.
The management of the vineyards pursues the utmost biological balance: green manure and organic fertilization only where needed, balanced pruning and manual management of all the most delicate operations, including grape harvesting. We at Cantine Olivella carry out agriculture that is aware of traditions but ready for innovations, and our goal is to make a good wine a good story.
